PRIDESTAFF is currently seeking motivated and qualified CNC MACHINE OPERATORS for a manufacturing client located in Monee, IL.
1st & 2nd shift available!
1ST SHIFT : 6am-2 : 30pm Mon-Fri
2ND SHIFT : 2 : 30pm-1 : 00am Mon-Thurs
$20 per hour
JOB DUTIES :
- Under minimal supervision, set up and operate CNC machines in skilled precision
- Use gauges and measuring instruments to meet tolerance requirements
- Use precision tools, machinery and equipment such as lathe, vertical milling machine, drill press, and a variety of cutting tools and equipment
- Properly and safely select, align, secure, and remove holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials onto machines
- Recognize, deploy, and properly use inserts, fixtures, and tooling
- Perform daily and regular cleaning and light maintenance tasks on machinery and equipment
REQUIREMENTS :
- Previous CNC machining experience (at least 6 months to 1 year of educational or on-the-job experience)
- Able to accurately read, interpret, and follow blueprints
- Experience using precision tools, machinery, and equipment such as lathe, vertical milling machine, and a variety of cutting tools and equipment
- Experience working in an industrial / manufacturing environment REQUIRED
- Must be willing to submit to pre-employment drug test and background check
